Hey friends,
This week we’ve got something very cool to share for all you producers, remixers, sonic tinkerers and audio adventurers…
To celebrate the release of Fractured, we’re launching a Remix Competition for Beth Sarah’s track Miscommunication! Here’s what Beth had to say about it, and below that everything you need:
Absolutely ANYONE can get involved with this, here’s how it works:
🎤 You can get access to the vocal stem from the original track HERE along with a copy of the original song for reference 🎤
🎚️ Do your thing - remix it, cut it up, reimagine it, add stuff, flip the genre entirely, change the tempo, or whatever you like, anything goes 🎚️
🏆 Beth will personally pick her favourite remixes. The winners will receive a free copy of the album (CD and digital!), and a selection of remixes will be featured as official B-sides on the Bandcamp release of the single! 🏆
This is your chance to collaborate creatively with Beth’s work and be part of the Fractured universe in a totally new way.
Deadline for submissions: 30th May 2025
Send your finished remix to contact@headlightsandwhitelines.com with your artist name + “Miscommunication Remix” in the subject. We will accept all formats, including WAV, MP3, links to YouTube, Soundcloud etc.
Looking forward to hearing your wildest ideas. Let’s get sonically weird 💥
And don’t forget, Fractured also comes out on 30th May, pre-order your copy HERE!
What else is going on in the world of Lights And Lines?
Thanks for asking, loads as it happens!
GRIM17’s next Single, Slugger, comes out on 31st May. This one has got BASS like you wouldn’t believe. Follow GRIM17 on all the usual streaming services to hear it first.
Our very own Gozer Goodspeed also has a couple of exciting things coming up. We are revisiting LAL-V001 - Escape Hatch Fever on Vinyl! Sadly the last attempt fell through before we could get it off the ground due to circumstances beyond our control, but this time we think we might have nailed it. More on this to come next month, and a brand new single on the way!
And finally, The Inner Sleeve Podcast has been picking up new listeners every week. We’re now 14 episodes in with brand new ones coming out every Wednesday.
Now what are you waiting for - go remix that track!
